All academic researchers interested in the development of language research methodologies and data science technologies are warmly invited to get involved with the Researchers Advisory Group. Register your interest via the contact form below. Your request will be reviewed and, if it is approved, you will receive an invitation to join.

Please note that this is a group intended for academic researchers to explore the dictionary’s capabilities, investigating new, flexible ways to access and manipulate this dataset, and that not all users of the OED may fit the researcher profile for the group.

  Also note that it may take a few days for the team to process the invitations.

We will only use your personal information to contact you to learn more about your research project, to answer any queries you might have, to take action in response to feedback, to let you know about this group’s activities, and to invite you to take part in particular activities (e.g.: to complete a survey, or showcase your project). You can always decline any of these invitations, and participate in our OED Researchers Advisory Group as much or as little as you wish.
